Questions, answered
- On any paid plan (Lite and up), tenants save a card or bank account in their portal and rent can be collected online through Stripe — both cards and ACH bank transfers are supported. On the Free plan there is no online rent collection; instead you record offline payments yourself and EZPM keeps the ledger and receipts organized.
- Yes. The Free plan lets you manage up to three properties at no cost with the command-center dashboard, tenants, properties, manual rent tracking, receipts, maintenance requests, and Workspace settings. Online rent collection is not included on Free; upgrade to Lite ($20/mo) to collect rent online. No card is required to start.
- Manual rent tracking — available on every plan including Free — lets you log payments tenants make outside the app, track partial payments, and issue receipts. Online rent collection, included from Lite up, lets tenants pay by card or ACH through Stripe and use saved payment methods for easier repeat payments.
- Payments are processed entirely by Stripe, a PCI-DSS Level 1 provider. EZPM never stores raw card or bank numbers — sensitive data is tokenized and held by Stripe, and all traffic is encrypted in transit.
- Yes. Tenants submit maintenance requests, paid tiers can attach photos, and managers triage each request from the Maintenance area. The command-center worklist highlights open requests that need attention.
- A Workspace is the manager-side home for one portfolio. It holds your properties, tenants, rent ledger, maintenance requests, documents, analytics, settings, and plan billing in one place.
- Switch to annual billing and you pay for ten months instead of twelve — two months free every year. The same features are included on monthly or annual; only the billing cadence changes.
- Your data stays yours. You can export payment history and records as CSV at any time, and the EZPM core is open-source under the AGPL license.
